Weatherford ISD's 2026 rate wasn't final when I checked: trustees delayed the vote, the 2025 rate was $1.0342 per $100, and the district's proposed budget projected $0.9342. The combined rates below use the 2025 school rate and add Parker County ($0.284719) and Weatherford College ($0.114716):

What I Tell Buyers Looking in Weatherford ISD

    1. Confirm the district by address. Parker County is split among many districts.
    2. Check utilities on rural lots. Many homes outside town use a septic system and some use a well; inspect both.
    3. Look at the flood map for homes near creeks and Lake Weatherford.
    4. Ask about special districts. Rural addresses may pay an emergency services district tax.

Fair housing note: this page reports facts about attendance zones, prices and tax rates. It doesn't rank schools or neighborhoods. For school performance, use the state's ratings on txschools.gov and visit the campuses yourself.
